Who We Are
Nicole (Nikki) McGowen, MA, LPC, is the owner and Director of Biblical Counseling of Fort Worth. Nikki earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Liberty University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider Level 2, dually licensed in Texas and Oklahoma, and specializes in Trauma Informed Biblical Counseling with women and couples. Nikki is a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors, and has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stage of life and identity struggles, sexual abuse, domestic violence and trauma.
Nikki and her husband, Matt, were married in August of 2012 and have three children. Nikki has worked in early childhood education in the United States as well as overseas in South Central Vietnam. She has also worked on staff at her previous church, and has served in leadership roles with the Women’s Ministry. When she's not in the office, you can likely find her homeschooling her children or training for her next half-marathon.

Kalie Chapman, MA, LPC Associate, (under the supervision of Michelle Wolf, MA, LPC-S) earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Liberty University and her Master of Clinical and Mental Health from Houston Christian University. Kalie has experience working with anxiety, depression, relational struggles, identity struggles, sexual abuse, and trauma. She has a desire to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families searching for hope in the midst of suffering and sorrow.
Kalie and her husband, Tyler, were married in May of 2014 and have three children. She has worked in various capacities with children and on staff at her previous church with the college ministry. She has also served in leadership roles within Women’s Ministry. Kalie and her family enjoy the outdoors, good movies, and great food! Kalie considers it a great privilege to counsel those whom the Lord brings her way.

In an effort to make quality biblical counseling as accessible as possible in the midst of everyday life, we offer all sessions online through a video Telehealth platform. This platform is HIPAA compliant, and provides a safe, accessible, and convenient way to receive counseling care in the comfort of your home or other safe space. Our counselors are licensed to provide professional counseling to any resident, anywhere in Texas and Oklahoma.
